Organisational Skills Sessions

Children and adults with specific learning difficulties often encounter impairments in the area of planning, organising, synthesising and integration of information. This in fact affects their performance and self- esteem significantly.  It is hard to experience this when they know they are clever.

One to one individualised sessions [in front of other family members] are designed and are tailor made to suit the profile of individual students and their families. The user friendly skills which are provided to families generally improve the performance, happiness and general quality of life for people with specific learning difficulties.  The skills improve:

  • Keeping track of schedules, assignments, deadlines
  • Punctuality for classes / meetings
  • Prioritising tasks
  • Multitasking
  • Planning work on long term assignments
